Membrane function
Membrane presses have a special air cushion in the working plate which works like a lifting cushion. This technology almost perfectly compensates for protrusions such as thick seams, buttons, zippers, polo strips, etc. However, two important points must be kept in mind when working with the membrane function.
- Transfer should not be pressed directly over unevennesses
- Attention should be paid to heat resistance of the unevennesses
Because the membrane function can be deactivated and the machine can also be equipped with standard worktops due to our quick-change system, you have a high degree of flexibility.
Modular construction
Thanks to a quick-change device, the worktops can be easily exchanged in a few seconds without the need for tools. Because the worktops are free-standing, the textiles can be conveniently pulled on so that only the cut-out to be printed lies on top. This results in the following advantages:

Electrics and display
The temperature and time can be set and read easily and quickly on our clearly arranged display.
Heating plate
A fast heating up as well as an even and constant temperature is guaranteed thanks to the newest Mikanit heating foil technology. Our heating plates, which we manufacture ourselves, are delivered as standard with a Teflon cover, which is fixed with a clamping device and can be replaced by the customer himself at any time.
In addition to the standard sizes for our heating plates, we also manufacture custom sizes!
With membrane function
To trigger the pressing process on the Air-Swing 1000 membrane pneumatic press, two pushbuttons must be pressed simultaneously for safety reasons until the heating plate rests on the work plate or membrane plate (2-hand safety circuit). During the pressing process, the membrane cushion fills with air and thus presses evenly against the heating plate. After the set time has elapsed, the air first escapes from the membrane cushion and then the transfer press opens again automatically. Swiveling is done manually. The contact pressure can be precisely adjusted via a pressure regulator.

Consumables
As the name suggests, the Teflon protection for the heater ensures that the heating plate is protected against dirt such as adhesive residues or paint. In addition, the Teflon is very easy to clean or, in the worst case, simply replace with a new one.
A Nomex cover protects the worktop or the silicone rubber. The cover also ensures that the textile slides better over the worktop when it is pulled on. It can be washed or replaced as well.
The silicone rubber on the worktop contributes significantly to the printing result. Due to the now very diverse printing possibilities, you get different results with hard or softer silicone rubber pads. Because we do not glue our pads to the worktops, the silicone rubber can also be exchanged for another one at any time. By default, a medium-hard is delivered. However, you can also order a soft and a hard silicone rubber from us.
